2017 Was a Special Year for Hunter's Heroes
It was a special year for the Hunter's Heroes Foundation in 2017. The foundation was able to help a local family in need at Christmas, continued its goal of educating the public about the dangers of working in emergency services, and so much more.
Take a look back at all the foundation did throughout 2017 with this year in review.
The Annual Firemen's Convention in Wildwood:
The biggest event of the year for the foundation is attending the annual Firemen's Convention in Wildwood. Here are some stories from that special weekend.
Education:
Education is an important part of our foundation. We want to educate both first responders and the public. We also want to educate the spouses of our first responders. We want people to know and understand the challenges first responders face on and off the job. Here are some of our educational posts from 2017:
Public Events:
The foundation also hosted a public event for the second straight year, the beef and beer. Aside from the beef and beer, the foundation also provided a Christmas for a family in need. The foundation also provided educational programs for the public related to Halloween safety, New Year's Eve safety, and Christmas tree safety.
Honoring Lt. Hunter:
